Branislav Marelic

His professional experience began in 2009 in the “ColombaraOlmedo” Firm, in matters of public interest and human rights,  mainly in litigation of international organizations, such as the Commission on Human Rights, United Nations Treaty Bodies or, Special Procedures of the Council Human Rights. After the merger, which gives rise to RCZ, he maintained participating in complex and international litigation, especially before the Constitutional Court and forming part of the team of lawyers that litigated before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights the case “Omar Humberto Maldonado and others” with Chile .

In 2016, he was elected advisor of the National Institute of Human Rights (INDH) for the period 2016-2022, in addition between 2016 until 2018, he served as National Director of the institution. While he was Director of the INDH, he suspended his participation in all cases processed privately, assuming an exclusive dedication.

Since 2019, along with joining RCZ, he has been a professor in different Human Rights graduates and a consultant in Human Rights and Business matters.
