International Litigation and Disputes

One of the consequences of globalization has been that litigation and disputes must more frequently be resolved not only locally but also internationally. The large majority of international treaties signed by Chile contain dispute resolution clauses that are beginning to be invoked more often. The WTO, OECD and ICSID are just a few examples. For many years we have participated in resolving conflicts via direct negotiation with governments or parent companies.
